Tim Thomas '17

Tim Thomas ’17, currently studying communications at the University of St. Louis, is hoping to pursue a career in human resource professional, concentrating on facilitating workspaces while ensuring that they are diverse and inclusive.  This summer, he will intern with Dot Foods, the largest food service redistribution enterprise in the United States. In addition, Tim is an entrepreneur at heart. He is laser-focused on developing a portfolio with multiple streams of income. He has created an investment company named T4 Investment Properties geared toward finding rental properties. His determination regarding his goal has afforded him an opportunity at Hybrid Real Estate where he serves as a property manager; he uses this experience to expand his network and learn more about the industry. Tim satisfies his creative aspirations by designing his impending clothing line, T4 Clothing.

By participating in structured leadership programs, Tim is preparing to succeed in corporate America. In summer 2019, he was selected for the INROADS scholarship program and worked as an intern at MetLife Insurance. In addition, Tim holds leadership positions and boast a few impressive accomplishments. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and serves as the Junior Province Vice Polemarch in the Middle Western Province, making him the highest ranking undergraduate in the region. Tim has been selected to attend multiple national leadership programs: Leadership Development Institute (LDI) and Lead Kappa. He is also a recipient of the 2020 Nestle Purina North America Scholarship as a result of his work with the Backpack to Briefcase Mentorship Program.
